Job description

Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day production activities for a 6-day/week operation
- Examine the production process and plan a production schedule
- Monitor, understand and ensure quality-control standards of equipment
- Implement production-improvement and cost-reduction programs
- Supervise the work of junior staff
- Devise and maintain production reports
- Ensure safety across all operations
Requirements
- At least 5 years' proven experience in a manufacturing environment — paper industry, instrumentation or related engineering operations
- Experience managing a production facility
- Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, manufacturing, operations or a related field
- Excellent teamwork and management skills
- Verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi
- Strong planning, time-management and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other members to achieve company goals
- Working knowledge of industrial equipment and raw materials
- Ability to lead and motivate junior staff and the wider workforce
