Job description
UEC's core business, workforce, infrastructure and machinery are all growing rapidly to keep pace with customer demand. To support that growth, we're hiring a Store Manager who can work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and run store inventory efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate the stock inventory system to ensure effective inventory control
- Provide logistics solutions for a smooth, well-ordered flow of materials
- Conduct quality analysis of machinery parts
- Acquire materials from suppliers in a timely manner as per demand
- Devise and execute re-order levels of stock for continuous production
- Implement cost-reduction and alternate-sourcing methods to increase productivity
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Store Manager in an engineering-related industry
- Computer skills, particularly MS Office
- Able to learn quickly, multitask, and self-motivate
- Graduate degree, with Mechanical/Industrial Engineering preferred
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Working knowledge of raw materials
