SHORT SPAN COMPRESSION TESTER (LCD DISPLAY & KEY PAD OPERATED)

The UEC Short Span Compression Tester is used for the rapid & efficient determination of Compression Strength of Fluting media, Test Liner & Folding Boxboard. Since the Compression Strength effects the "Stacking Strength" of a "Finished Box", hence by optimizing the compression strength of the "Liners & the Fluting", it is possible to make boxes, with the same strength using "Less Fibers”. 

Its "Fully Microprocessor Controlled Menu Driven Software" allows easy selection & setting of Test Parameters, Precise Pneumatic Clamping holds the Test Specimen accurately to minimize the human error during the test.

The UEC "SCT" is also suitable to conduct Test for Containerboard having a Grammage between 100 GSM and 400 GSM (Approx.).
