The
double-disc Cow Dung Refiner is used for processing cow dung manure into
slurry. Stock flows through the inlet into the abrasive section that houses two
12” serrated discs assembled from 6 segments. One disc remains stationary while
the other rotates clockwise. As centrifugal force pushes the material to the
perimeter of the rotating discs, the material is cut and softened by abrasion.
The refining degree can be varied by adjusting the space between discs using a
hand wheel.
The
unit is constructed from a cast iron body with the runner-head casing support
made from stainless steel. Paired angular contact ball bearings ensure smooth
and efficient operation with low vibrations. The redesigned refiner from UEC uses
coupling to connect the motor to the main shaft. This ensures increased
grinding performance, efficiency, reliability, and space utilization.
